is the new home for 8 ex battery hens rescued by the wonderful organization 'BRITISH HEN WELFARE TRUST'. They are settling in well, and are so gentle and a lovely presence to the garden. I feel a print coming - a flock of red hens - Nettle and Hen - after all that is what this blog is about.... inspiring animals.
